Driver Eligibility

Every MVR, checked against your written driver guidelines. Indicary returns a recommendation for each driver, with the reasons. Each adverse item is traced to its source text and the rule it triggered.

Your underwriter makes the call.

What it does

Your guidelines, applied to every driving record

Indicary reads single- and multi-driver MVRs, maps violation descriptions from each state's format to standard AAMVA violation codes, and flags anything it can't classify for review. Then it applies your program's written driver guidelines.

Indicary returns a recommendation for each driver, with the reasons. Every violation, accident and suspension behind it is traced to its source text on the record, and every rule it triggered is shown.

Run one driver or a full roster, at new business or at renewal.

What you get back

  • An eligibility recommendation for every driver
  • Each adverse item traced to its source text on the record
  • The rule each item triggered, and the version of your rules it was checked against
  • A specific reason whenever a driver is flagged for review, so your underwriter knows exactly what to look at
  • Every recommendation kept on record, with its findings and reasons

What it is not

Where Driver Eligibility stops

Driver Eligibility supports your underwriting and risk management. It is not:

  • A hiring screen or a motor carrier's driver file. Those stay with the carrier.
  • A risk score. Every outcome comes from your written rules, and you can see which ones.
  • An automated decline. Indicary recommends; your licensed underwriter decides.
  • A data source. You keep your MVR provider, and Indicary works on the records you already obtain.

Questions

Do we have to change our guidelines?

No. Indicary applies the written guidelines you already use. We set them up with you, and each recommendation is pinned to the ruleset version in force.

What happens when a record is unclear?

It's flagged for human review, never guessed, with a reason saying what's missing or unclear. Your underwriter takes it from there.

Do the same facts always get the same answer?

The same facts under the same ruleset version always get the same answer. The rules are deterministic, so a different outcome traces back to different facts or a new ruleset version.

Where do the records come from?

From you. You send the records you already obtain under your own permitted use. Indicary doesn't request records from motor vehicle agencies.

Is our data used to train models?

No. Records are used only to produce your recommendations.

See it on your own guidelines

Send your written driver guidelines and a set of past files. We'll show you where Indicary agrees with your underwriters, and where it doesn't.
