Your rules. Your proof.

When you delegate authority to an MGA, you need to know it's being exercised as written. Indicary applies the program's written driver rules to every record and keeps the evidence behind every driver outcome.

Delegated authority

Exercised as written, and shown driver by driver

Your program's driver guidelines are written down. Indicary applies them that way: the same rules, in the same version, to every driver the MGA reviews. Each recommendation is pinned to the ruleset version in force, so you can see which guidelines applied to which driver on which date.

Evidence per driver, per date

  • Every adverse item traced to its source text on the record
  • Every rule that fired, and the version it came from
  • Each recommendation pinned to the ruleset version in force
  • Each recommendation kept on record, with its findings and reasons
Why it matters

Who is responsible, and who may still pay

Responsibility agreements between insurers and motor carriers put driver hiring, screening and monitoring with the motor carrier. Under the MCS-90 endorsement, though, an insurer can still be required to pay a final judgment to an injured member of the public, even where the policy wouldn't otherwise respond, with a right to recover from the insured.

That makes the driver guidelines in your program, and the evidence that they were followed, part of how you manage the exposure.

Where Indicary sits

On the insurer's side of the line

Indicary works for the program: it applies the insurer's written eligibility requirements for underwriting and risk management. Hiring and driver files remain with the motor carrier. A licensed underwriter reviews and makes every final call, and nothing is declined automatically.
